Three easy steps for a successful group paintball outing:
Schedule a game;
Invite participants to play, hand out maps and collect deposits; Submit deposits to Liberty Paintball at least two weeks prior to your scheduled
Show up between 9:00 and 9:30 on your game date prepared for some explosive
action and lots of fun.
Step 1. Schedule a game
Contact us at Liberty Paintball and ask about our field availability. We recommend that you schedule at least four weeks ahead. We cancel only in times of severe weather conditions (at which time we will reschedule your game).
Step 2 Invite participants
Who you invite is totally up to you. You may be booking an outing for a church, sports or youth group or just a group of friends. It doesn't matter to us. Obviously larger groups provide more inter-action on the playing fields. The only stipulation is that players must be at least ten years old.
If it is your intention to have a larger group, you may want to encourage the people you invite, to invite some of their friends and co-workers. You will find that it is not that difficult to recruit 40 players if you wish to do so. Use the forms provided in the Group Organizer Package to carefully keep track of the players and the deposits. The forms are for your convenience, not to be handed
in to us.
Collect a $10 deposit from each of your players. We recommend that you tell your guests that the first players to hand in their deposits to you will be guaranteed a spot. Please ensure your guests know that the deposits are non-refundable so there are no disappointments if one of your players cannot make it. We suggest that they find a replacement to recoup their deposit.
Hand out maps to all paid up players. We can provide you with copies or you can print copies from our web site at www.libertypaintball1.com. Waivers can be filled out on game day at the field. Parents or legal guardians of all players under 18 years of age must fill out the parental consent portion of the waiver. NO EXCEPTIONS! If the parents or guardians are not going to be at the field on game day, please ensure they fill out the parental consent form beforehand. These are available from us by request or you can print copies from our web site.
With a minimum of 20 players, you have the choice of allowing only members of your group to play on your own private field, or you may allow others to join your games.
You can divide your group into teams before your arrival on game day, or you can divide them up randomly upon your arrival-it's up to you.
Step 3 Show up on your scheduled day
Registration and equipment sign out will begin at 9:00 on game day. We start when everyone has registered, regardless of time. Therefore, it is in your group's best interest for participants to come out early, preferably with their waivers filled out. If all players show up at 9:30 rather than 9:00, it takes longer to register and sign out equipment.
Once everyone has registered and been issued their equipment, your group will be instructed on safety rules, use of their equipment and general information on rules and conduct. Play starts as soon as this has been accomplished, so your group's attention and cooperation at this time is appreciated. Every player must go through this orientation even if they have played at Liberty Paintball before. This is mandated by our insurance company and there are no exceptions. If a player is late, he or she will have to sit out the first game to get their orientation, even if they have gone through it on a previous date.
